The Place Offset Road tool creates a road, along an existing alignment.

From the Road Placement tools, select Offset Road to start the tool.

Tool settings

Once selected, the Offset Road settings dialog displays to define different parameters of the road to be placed.

Road Template

Defines the distance between the two roads where this distance is measured between template origins.

Offset Side

Can be changed using the key-in (-) for left offset.

Defines which side of the existing alignment the new road is placed.

Speed

Defines the design speed for the Offset Road.
